Fried Pickles Recipe

- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 2 c. panko
- Vegetable oil
- 12 large pickle spears
- 1/4 c. Ranch dressing
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbsp, Hot sauce
- Preparation of pickles: Into quarters, slice the pickle lances lengthwise in order to create thin spears.
- Arrange the dredging station: Whisk garlic powder and flour together in a medium bowl. Take one more bowl and put eggs in it and in third bowl, put panko. At a time, work with a few spears. First, in the flour mixture, dredge pickle spears, then toss them in eggs and then scour them in panko.
- Spicy ranch: Mix together hot sauce and ranch and till ready to serve, set it aside.
- Frying the pickles: In a deep, large skillet, pour about 1 ½ vegetable oil. Till the oil is shimmering, heat it over medium heat. Works in batches, with the help of tongs, add 3-4 pickle spears to the oil. Cook for about a minute till from one side, the spears are golden brown and then flip to other side to cook for one more minute. Line a cooling rack with paper towels and place the fried pickles on it.
