Shishuasana – the child pose

  • Try to sit on the back of your legs. Giving the whole body weight to the heels.
  • Keeping the hips placed on your heels, bend towards the end of the mat while resting the forehead on the floor.
  • Place the arms along both the sides of the body with the palms facing upwards.
  • Ensure that the chest is in contact with the thighs.
  • Try to come back to the initial position by slowly reclining making the spine straight and relax the body.
