After the announcement recalling every galaxy Note7 sold, Samsung has launched an exchange program for the US customers who bought the device. Starting from 3rd September the company will exchange every device sold with a brand new piece as soon as next week.
The full details are provided below, but the main gist is this. If you own a Note 7 contact either your carrier or Samsung to start the process of exchanging your device for a new one. If you opt for Note 7 you’ll maybe have to wait a week while they sort out which products are safe and not have been affected by the battery issues but if you opt for a S7 or S7 edge, Samsung will allow that and also pay you back the difference. Samsung is also handing over a gift card of $25 or store credit for the inconvenience.
