She had broken her ankle while training in the Beijing, and that was just before the games. But, she still managed to compete in the finals on the uneven bars. She got married in 2013 and had a baby in 2015. She retired from the gymnastics in 2012 after she failed to make an Olympic team.
She was the youngest member of the team and played a crucial role to finals, when two other members of the team were injured. However, she wasn’t even supposed to compete. She is still working on gymnastics and she had also completed her graduation. She tried her level best to qualify for the 2012 Olympics, but due to elbow injury she could not participate. For the University of Florida, she took completion in gymnastics for four years and in the year 2016 complete her graduation with a degree in communication.
