6 The Stone Forest in China
Stone forest is located about 56 miles away from Kunming city in China. It is also known with the name “Shilin”. This place was awarded as World Heritage site by UNESCO. The illusion of dark grey forest is created with the tall standing stones of this forest. History says that this place is the birth place of a gorgeous girl of Yi-people. This girl forbid to get marry with her love and this turned her into tall stones.
