Sloppy cheesesteak sliders-Netmarkers


  • 2 kaiser rolls
  • 1 Garlic clove, minced
  • bread and butter pickles
  • 1 red onion, diced
  • 1/2 c. guacamole
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. crushed tomatoes
  • 6 oz. shredded milk cheddar
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef sirloin
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 2 c. arugula
  • 1/4 c. cherry tomatoes, halved


  1. Over medium heat, cook half of onion and garlic in a large skillet for 2 minutes. Stir in chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and dry mustard. From medium, increase the heat to high and cook the beef for about 5 minutes till it gets brown. Cook for another 2 minutes after adding crushed tomatoes.
  2. Place the Kaiser rolls on serving plates by cutting them in half. With the sloppy joe mixture, mix the cheese after turning the heat off. Divide the mixture evenly between 4 rolls. Top it with arugula, a dollop of guacamole, remaining red onion, cherry tomatoes and pickles.
